Client – Nokia - Orange
The Brief
Nokia, arguably one of the most well known brands worldwide came to Pumasource to assist them in a campaign they were running in conjunction with Orange Telecom. The Nokia Pick ‘n’ Mix campaign gave the opportunity for new customers who purchased selected Nokia phones on an Orange tariff to pick from a selection of 8 free gifts. Pumasource were asked to receive these gift requests by post and process the information making sure that certain criteria had been met. From verification of the requester as well as their proof of purchase, Pumasource were asked to return this information within 3 working days.
The solution
The first port of call was to setup a designated account manager who would deal with the day to day handling of this project. Second was to setup a bespoke in house process to ensure that all requests were tagged and logged to guarantee they were dealt within the allotted time scale. Daily transfers of files allowed Nokia to keep up to date with the requirements and make sure that gifts were delivered on time.
The Results
By letting Pumasource handle the more tedious part of the process, Nokia were able not only to free up resources but reduce the overall cost of this promotion by 40%.
